NLP® on Glass NLP® or other luminescent pigments on glass is a patented method of Next Generation B.V. For silk screen printing applications, this patented method can create an white edge feeling and look, while NLP® gives off light in the dark. NLP® is also used on glass with NLP® coated layers, foils, powder coatings as an interlayer on “cold” glass, NLP® can undergo high temperatures up to 810 C, for a short periods of time. Above 900 C, NLP® suffers 90% degradation of key characteristics. NLP® is successfully used in, between, on glass and in glass, with or without high temperatures, in interlayer, in foils on glass and as coating on glass. Those applications are patented pending (Next Generation B.V.). Although the production method is different, a similar method can be used in several kinds of plastics.
